GRAND PRIX.

The 6. Oldenburg City Grand Prix was on friday. The whole city met on this place, where many oldies were driving around.

I experimented with long exposure in our garden. Yes, these are photographs. No paintings!

COBLENZ & LAKE CONSTANCE II.

Some other shots from Lake Constance and two pictures from Coblenz where we visited some relatives. 

BODENSEE / LAKE CONSTANCE.

In the Easter holidays we drove to Lake Constance. I used a tripod the first time together with a ND8 gray filter. Running around the Rhine falls near Schaffhausen with this combination makes you feel important - even if the weather was bad. The benefit of the rainy and grey weather is that the result looks like a painting from the past.

ANNALENA.

This is a portrait of Annalena from Wolfsburg I took last november.

VENEZIA '08.

We started our cruise over the eastern mediterranean sea in venice. I took this shot from the back of the MSC Poesia in the early afternoon.

IBIZA '11.

Ibiza is wonderful! Although it was not sunny every time we had a great week on this island. It has an interesting land- and seascape. The hotel and the excursions with our rental car were also very cool.

DOUGLAS DC-2.

This is my title picture without any cropping. I took it last year on the 100. birthday of Hamburg Airport. You see a Douglas DC-2, 1935 model, 18.89m length, 25.91m wingspan, 4.98m altitude and two "Wright Cyclone SGR-1820-F52 radial engine" with 875 horsepower each.

MENORCA 2011. PART III.

This is the last part of my Menorca pictures. In the first shot you see the "Cova des Coloms", somewhere in the middle of the island. We were searching for it a very long time but it was very worth for it... The picture below I took on the other side of our hotel, near by the beach in Cala'n Bosc.

BALTRUM 2011.

Baltrum is a little island in the north sea. I drove there with some friends of mine. It was a very funny and cool week with some great photos!

This is the second part of my Menorca shots. One black & white photo from the lighthouse on the "Cap de Cavalleria" and one of the "Torre de Fornells" in the north of this little island.

A WINTER DAY.

Three weeks ago i was in "Dangast". It is in the North of Germany on the Jade Bay (Jadebusen). That day it was sooo cold, while photographing my fingers felt like ice.

Welcome to my new Blog! I start with a black & white series from last weekend. My family and I have been on a trip to the "Zwischenahner Meer" which was completely frozen over. Many people were ice skating or just walking around with their family, their dogs, friends or other relatives.
